Anti-Embolism Stockings
Compression or anti embolism stockings are typically ordered to promote hip replacement recovery. The patient will be instructed to wear thigh-high or knee-high compression stockings as much as possible, day and night, until the likelihood of deep venous thrombosis or venous thromboembolism (DVT), is eliminated.
